An atmosphere of professional camaraderie makes your Toastmasters Club a unique learning environment - informal, yet dedicated to learning. The Toastmasters program can be tailored to meet your personal objective. Whether you desire improvement in prepared or impromptu  speaking,  greater  skill in the use of visual aids, experience and knowledge is to be gained in the areas that most interest you.

The Toastmasters program is cost effective, especially when compared to seminars charging hundreds of dollars per day. There is a $53 enrolment fee (one time payment) and $33 dues every six months.

Each new Toastmaster receives a New Member Kit. The kit features the basic Communication and Leadership manuals, general orientation materials and information regarding skill improvement in areas such as speech evaluation and the use of gestures.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month from 6:00 pm till 7:30 pm. Everyone is most welcome to visit. Please call us before you come so that we can meet you at the entrance.

As a member of a Toastmasters club, you have a right to anticipate certain definite gains which will come to you as personal reward for your efforts. What are these benefits?

  • Self – confidence, not mere self – conceit or empty pride, but a substantial confidence in what you know and what you can do
  • Ability to think, more clearly and constructively
  • Tolerance, the ability to see both sides of a question
  • Ability to speak effectively before all groups, your superiors in the office as well as your peers
  • Advancement in a position in your own business and profession
  • Advancement in office in your social, fraternal or trade and professional groups
  • Ability as a leader, the trained speaker is a natural leader
  • Ability to listen critically and analytically to speeches you hear and take constructive evaluation and use it to your benefit
  • General broadening of your interests in life
  • Increased usefulness in your home, work and community life
  • Political preferment if your ambitions lie in that direction
  • Valuable friendships with ambitious congenial members

Toastmasters Education Program

A Toastmasters club adopts a "learn-by-doing" philosophy, wherein each member learns at a pace suitable to their developmental needs. The Toastmasters program is divided into two separate tracks, Communication and Leadership, with members progressing along each track by presenting speeches and taking on roles within their club, district, and Toastmasters International itself.

Members are encouraged to participate in both tracks. The two tracks are not mutually exclusive and you can work in both at the same time. Both also provide recognition for specific accomplishments. The diagram below shows the award progression in each track.
